I really think that Elder Oaks said some things that needed to be said. I loved that he emphasized that yes God loves us but that we can't ever allow ourselves to delude ourselves into thinking that that love condones things that go against His laws. What I really was impressed with was how well it fit with what Pres Uchtdorf had said in the morning session. I think those two talks could be companion talks.MY VIEWhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11358888281800202218noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5401055091892091482.post-12060355173437960952009-10-05T13:26:15.510-07:002009-10-05T13:26:15.510-07:00But- you know- nobody can do "come come ye sa...But- you know- nobody can do "come come ye saints" like the motab's. Monson's talk on anger was also good as was Elder Watson's on temperance.

I did love the choir's rendition of "Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing." It has become my favorite.

I think I was more prepared to 'hear' the word than I have been in a long time. It was a very good weekend for me. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.Bravonehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02762204502534599107noreply@blogger.com
