T-minus a few days and this gay Mormon guy will be living in Utah! I am totally stoked, if I could just secure a job I would be all set. Thanks to my dear friends who I will be renting a room from for a month, I am able to have a better chance at finding work. Freedom, culture and gay Mormon boys or bust!
Attending the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints can be on my own timing and desire. No pressure to go to church just because my mom and dad go too. No sneaking around to go out on dates. No lying about where I am going or who I am going to see. I can finally be myself—true and fully.
The Mormon, and gay Mormon culture in Utah might be one the most appealing aspects to living in Utah. I am able to finally met people I have only socialized with online for years. I can become a part of the community I have heard of and known since my coming out and blogging infancy. Meeting fellow MOHO's is definitely something I look forward to.
Can you tell I am thrilled? Lots still to be done in order for this to all work out, but I am putting my trust in God, my gut and fate. Next time I blog, I will be living in Salt Lake City, Utah!

ReplyDeleteHey Moderator, I've heard from Church Members that the Avenues has some really nice gays :)
DeleteBwahaha right? Funny thing is, for the next little while I am living right next door to the Avenues. Beware of those homosexuals, right?
DeleteExciting times for you. Enjoy them.
ReplyDeleteUtah, a gay Mecca. Who'd have thunk it?
Right? I was walking down to Temple Square yesterday to post a letter, and walked past several gays. I love it!
